Kaizen Extends Storage and Security Solution Portfolio

São Paulo, BRAZIL and SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 24, 2006 – Kaizen, a leading South American consulting and service provider, and SenSage, Inc., the leading provider of scalable event data management solutions, announced today a Reseller Agreement to market and support SenSage’s scalable event data management solution in South America.  SenSage’s event data management solutions provide IT organizations a more effective means of monitoring crucial security threats and internal violations while providing evidence of adherence to a growing number of regulatory compliance laws.

SenSage captures, centralizes, compresses, retains and manages massive volumes of event data regarding information on system activities and security controls.  The solution provides event data lifecycle management including pre-defined and customizable reports mapped to various compliance and security best practices.  Once implemented, IT organizations can perform accelerated incident analysis, investigation and reporting capabilities while significantly reducing the cost of managing several years and terabytes of event data.  The system can be integrated with near-line storage to extend online data retention capacity.

This is a timely and strategic partnership agreement with SenSage in light of growing demands for checks and balances within regulatory compliance guidelines. Many regulations require the implementation of products capable of managing and preserving large volumes of system activity data while providing fast access to and analysis of the stored information.  Anatel, the Brazilian regulatory agency, for instance, now requires telecommunication companies to maintain event Call Data Records (CDR) for up to five years as well as the ability to readily analyze it.
