Craig HansonCraig joined FTVentures in 2007 and is currently a Vice President with investment responsibilities in software. Prior to joining FTVentures, Craig's professional career included 12 years of private equity, operating and investment banking experience. Most recently, Craig was a Principal at Vista Ventures, where he invested in software, security and business services companies. Craig was a Vice President at Berenson Minella & Company, where he worked on large growth capital and buyout investments, as well as completed several acquisitions and financings, through the firm's private equity and investment banking operations. He has also been the CFO of a venture-backed technology company, ECC, and began his career as an investment banker with CS First Boston. Craig received a BA magna cum laude from Carleton College and an MS from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Sloan Fellow. Maha IbrahimMaha Ibrahim is a general partner at Canaan Partners, a private venture capital firm located in Menlo Park, California. Prior to joining Canaan, Maha held numerous roles at Qwest Communications including Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of eBusiness and Internet Operations. Earlier in her career, Maha was a management consultant with both the Boston Consulting Group and Price Waterhouse. Maha received a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT. Jim PflagingPresident and CEO of SenSage, Jim draws from his twenty-plus years of solid industry experience in enterprise software, managed security services, and wireless system management. His previous successes as CEO at Bonsai Networks and Intraspect Software, demonstrate his abilities to astutely marshal early stage companies through initial growth, to a state of market attractiveness. These experiences coupled with his stint as CEO of Pacific Bell Network Integration, also reflect a proven ability to rapidly grow customer base. Mr. Pflaging holds a B.S. in Commerce with concentration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia. Adam SahAdam Sah is the technical founder of SenSage and currently a senior technical staff member at Google. Prior to founding SenSage he was the Chief Scientist and Vice President of Internet Technology for Internet Pictures Corporation, the exclusive provider of photo-hosting for eBay and the leader in creating and hosting online virtual tours of residential real estate properties. Before IPIX, Adam was co-founder of Cohera Corporation, a software company specializing in distributed database systems. Earlier, he was one of the original team members at Inktomi, where he was Director of Technology and a core engineer on Hotbot and Goo, the leading search engines from 1996 to 1998. Adam started his career as an engineer for Ovid Technologies, the leader in medical research databases. Adam received a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has co-authored 5 patents in databases and internet image processing. Richard SeeRichard See has over 20 years experience in venture capital, M&A, and LBOs. He helped start Mitsui's Private Equity Department in 1997 and has invested in over 25 companies in telecommunications, software, and Internet infrastructure. He is involved in the convergence of telecommunications and the Internet, particularly new business modalities as companies move functions to the Internet. His investments have included: Plumtree Software, Promatory Communications, Array Biopharma, Mahi Networks, Celion, Luxn, BeamReach, Nexsi, ChemConnect, and TradeCard. Previously, he oversaw Mitsui's US network of over 100 subsidiaries, and executed acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. Mr. See's experience also includes work for Citicorp, where he managed a $1.6 billion portfolio related to major investment banks; the Bank of New York, where he grew the middle market service industry portfolio by 29%; and Chase Manhattan Bank, where he originated investment banking and corporate finance deals totaling $5.4 billion. Mr. See holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College. Steve WilliamsSteve Williams is a general partner at Sierra Ventures, a private venture capital firm located in Menlo Park, California, which focuses its investments on early and pre-public communications, software and Internet related content and infrastructure companies. Prior to joining Sierra, he was executive vice president of worldwide sales and chief operating officer of Marimba, Inc., a leading provider of Internet infrastructure management solutions. He was responsible for Marimba's worldwide operations, new business directions, and sales strategies. Prior to joining Marimba, Steve served as vice president of sales, Western North America, for Tivoli Systems, managing sales revenue in excess of $100 million dollars. He joined Tivoli upon the release of its initial product and built an extremely successful sales organization. Prior to his tenure at Tivoli, Steve was vice president and general manager of Bishop Graphics. Steve received a B.S.E.E. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. |
