SENSAGE WINS 2008 EMC PARTNER SOLUTION AWARD

SenSage CDR Warehouse for EMC Centera Recognized as Offering of the Year By EMC Velocity² Technology & ISV Program for Impact on Joint Revenue, Customer Adoption

SAN FRANCISCO - May 4, 2009 - Enterprise software leader SenSage, Inc. today announced that SenSage's CDR Warehouse received the EMC® Velocity² Technology and ISV Program "2008 EMC Partner Solution Award: Offering of the Year for EMC Centera®." SenSage's Call Detail Record (CDR) Warehouse solution was selected for its business impact, based on judgment criteria that included revenue contribution, lead generation, market presence, and commitment to and leveraging of EMC technology.

Telecommunications carriers and Internet service providers are struggling to store terabytes of call detail record (CDR) and Internet protocol detail record (IPDR) data required for revenue assurance, trend analysis, customer investigations and regulatory compliance. Traditional data warehouse solutions are poorly suited to address the data volume and query challenges, resulting in a significant expense.

The SenSage and EMC offering is an integrated event data warehouse solution that allows communications service providers to dramatically lower the costs of capturing, retaining, and analyzing CDR and IPDR data. The joint solution has been rapidly adopted by telecommunications carriers and Internet service providers as an efficient, effective way to meet their CDR and IPDR retention and analysis requirements.

Matt Aslett, enterprise software analyst at independent analyst firm The 451 Group, said, "The recognition by EMC supports our view that SenSage's recent growth has been driven by a combination of increased interest in event-based data warehousing and the company's relationships with global partners, such as EMC, as well as local specialists."

As a pioneering archiving platform, EMC Centera content addressed storage (CAS) provides customers with simple, affordable, and secure data archiving. It is often deployed to store unchanging and infrequently changing digital information that is available online for fast access and to enhance business value. Customers benefit from the unique cost and performance advantages of the SenSage CDR Warehouse and the EMC Centera platform combination.

"The combination of SenSage and EMC Centera helps customers instantly access their data warehouse, saving valuable time and money," said Jay Mastaj, vice president, EMC Storage Division. "We look forward to continued success in addressing customer needs with our joint solutions."

The EMC Partner Solution Awards, conducted annually by the EMC Velocity² Tech & ISV Program, recognize top offerings in the EMC Partner Solution Gallery (www.emc.com/solutiongallery), based on market presence, business impact, leads generated, leverage of EMC technology and revenue contribution. All solutions in the Gallery have been developed for EMC platforms and confirmed as repeatable and referenceable.

"This EMC award further demonstrates the value of our event data warehouse technology, which is rapidly becoming the CDR solution of choice for its capabilities and cost effectiveness," said Jim Pflaging, president and chief executive officer of SenSage. "We are pleased to work with EMC to deliver a unique solution that solves the technical and economic challenges of collecting, storing and analyzing years of CDR/IPDR data to meet the expanding needs of carriers and service providers."
