Eric Byunn

Eric has 14 years of experience in venture capital, technology and management consulting. Prior to joining FTV Capital in 2002, Eric was Director of Online Services at myCFO, a start-up wealth management firm. He joined myCFO from America Online, where he held several roles including management of Netscape's Personal Finance Channel.

Prior to the acquisition of Netscape by AOL, Eric led product management for the Netscape Navigator browser. He has also worked at Microsoft and at McKinsey & Company, where he primarily worked with telecommunications clients. Eric received an AB summa cum laude from Harvard University, where he focused on economics and computer science, and an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Joe Gottlieb, President & CEO

Joe is well known as an enterprise security thought leader. A respected technology veteran, Joe helped Sensage build and rapidly expand the web's first open security intelligence community, as well as increase consecutive quarterly revenues. Prior to becoming president and CEO in 2011, Joe led all marketing and business development activities, building partnerships and developing new opportunities to drive growth.

Joe joined Sensage from McAfee, where he was Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Technology Alliances. He brings a proven track record of innovative business strategies, including building the Security Innovation Alliance partner ecosystem for the industry's first open security management platform. Prior to McAfee, Joe held executive positions leading product and business strategy for such companies as Nokia and META Group. Joe holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Maha Ibrahim

Maha invests in innovative cloud, mobile, and digital media companies with the potential to become global market leaders. Maha is known in the venture industry for her ability to spot technology trends early, foster growth at her portfolio companies through hands-on operational guidance, and achieve profitable exits for entrepreneurs and investors.

Maha joined Canaan's Menlo Park office in March 2000. Early on, she led the firm's investment in Tacit Networks, helping the company negotiate a partnership with Brocade and a later acquisition by Packeteer Networks. Maha also established Canaan as a lead investor in Mobilitec (acquired by Alcatel-Lucent) and MiNO Wireless. Maha led Canaan's investments in PicksPal (acquired by Liberty Media), Watercooler, Virsto, Sensage and eBillme.

Prior to joining Canaan, Maha held numerous executive-level roles at Qwest Communications, including Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of eBusiness and Internet Operations. While at Qwest, her keen networking skills helped the company forge relationships with Netscape and Microsoft. Earlier in her career, Maha was a management consultant with both the Boston Consulting Group and Price Waterhouse.

Maha holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT.

Richard See

Richard has over 20 years experience in venture capital, M&A, and LBOs. He helped start Mitsui's Private Equity Department in 1997 and has invested in over 25 companies in telecommunications, software, and Internet infrastructure. He is involved in the convergence of telecommunications and the Internet, particularly new business modalities as companies move functions to the Internet.

His investments have included: Plumtree Software, Promatory Communications, Array Biopharma, Mahi Networks, Celion, Luxn, BeamReach, Nexsi, ChemConnect, and TradeCard. Previously, he oversaw Mitsui's US network of over 100 subsidiaries, and executed acquisitions, investments, and divestitures.

Mr. See's experience also includes work for Citicorp, where he managed a $1.6 billion portfolio related to major investment banks; the Bank of New York, where he grew the middle market service industry portfolio by 29%; and Chase Manhattan Bank, where he originated investment banking and corporate finance deals totaling $5.4 billion.

Mr. See holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College.

Steve Williams

Steve Williams is a managing director at Sierra Ventures, a private venture capital firm located in Menlo Park, California, focusing on early and pre-public communications, software and Internet related content and infrastructure companies.

Prior to joining Sierra, he was executive vice president of worldwide sales and chief operating officer of Marimba (acquired by BMC). Prior to joining Marimba, Steve served as vice president of sales, Western North America, for Tivoli Systems, building their sales team and managing sales revenue in excess of $100 million dollars. Prior to his tenure at Tivoli, Steve was vice president and general manager of Bishop Graphics.

Steve received a B.S.E.E. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
